We are seeking on behalf of our client an experienced CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER work in their Oil Operations Technical Support
Divisions based in SAUDI ARABIA on a long-term residential contract.
Purpose
Develop new scientific methods for process
enhancements
Develop various prototypemodels and administer all optimization from conceptualization
to validation
Perform research on processes to design new
optimization algorithms.
The organization handlescomplex related processissues associated with hydrocarbonprocessing.
Experience/Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree in Chemical Engineering
Masterâs degree is also preferable,
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
is recommended.
Minimum of 10 yearsâ experience
in Oil & Gas industry operating facilities
A membership with internationally recognized technical societiesis preferable
Experience with process simulation tools such as ASPEN HYSYS.
Experience with Produced water treatment and technologies.
Experience with crude oil processing, stabilization, and processgas conditioning.
Strong analytical and research skills,background in advancedmathematics and data analytics.
Solid background in process economics.
Ability to propose and deploy digitaltechnologies/solutions and innovative ideas to enhance process operations.
Knowledge of the industrystandards and best practices.
Comprehensive knowledge and a practical experience in process design,
assessments, studies, investigations, analysis, and optimization, producing detailed
reports and developing sound technical evaluations.
Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies and implementation
plan to improve crude quality,unit cost of production, energyintensity and other critical
operating parameters, capitalizing on PI data analysis, data analytics, field
visits and collaboration with plant operations.
Take a leading role in analysing operational challenges and work with
other entities to find solutions to address the challenge and work with proponent to fund
and implement the solution.
Research available recent technologies and work with departments to fund and pilot
and test them in the facilities.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to identify
challenges and limitations to meet production requirements with short- and
long- term plans and review the impacts of 20 years forecast.
Work with Engineering Services and the operating departments on means to
improve performance and reduce processing costs including
optimization/debottlenecking studies and assessment of new digitaltechnologies.
Present status and results of assorted
studies and initiatives to senior management
that is specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based.
